SHOW SUMMARY
It is the First Day of Spring in Desertville and lovely Amaryllis Cornflower is instantly smitten with handsome and heroic Lance Goodhart. Unfortunately, Amaryllis discovers that she may have to marry evil landlord Ambrose Wormley to save the family homestead. Can Lance rescue the fair Amaryllis in time? Will the scheming sisters, Drusilla and Priscilla, succeed in vamping our hero? Will Pappy Cornflower stop whittling away all the furniture? This original musical combines the old-fashioned “tie the maiden to the track” melodrama with fresh new humor and a wonderfully contemporary score.
